“ Great local place with excellent breakfasts. They serve it up good & quick. They also have other lunch items which are also very good. You won't be sorry. ”
“ The quintessential neighborhood diner is a pretty solid guarantee for a decently good "all-American" meal. I love that it's near my house for those occasions I don't want to make breakfast or need something hearty for lunch. Food is solid, service clean s generally fast and pleasant too. ”
“ Fresh food the fried potatoes delicious and the grits were creamy and thick so so good. Friendly staff ran by a few Ladies , Service was fast, they give you plenty on your plate ”
“ When I was getting an oil change just a few blocks away I asked where was a good place to go for breakfast? The cashier at the tire shop recommended Broom Bush Cafe. I was not disappointed with my Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. I was tasty and filling--I saved the other half for later. There prices are reasonable. The decor looks left over from 1980 something...and that is ok. They are just preparing food for the surrounding area. Nothing fancy--but it did the job--it filled me up. There was a guy who was pretty angry because they wouldn't let him in without a mask. That man ended up finding a mask, and eating in the restaurant. I walked down the street to a coffee shop for a Mocha. They had coffee here but not what I was looking for. If you want a filling breakfast or lunch and you are in Berkeley consider going here for some good old food! ”
